Go Beyond The Classroom With VDSS

Looking for a hands-on, future-focused approach to Year 10, Year 11 and 12?

Our VDSS (VET Delivered to Secondary Students) program is designed for students ready to take their learning beyond the classroom and into the real world.

Combining vocational training with senior secondary studies, VDSS programs contribute to a student’s VCE or VCE VM requirements. They offer greater flexibility, build job-ready skills and open up a broader range of career pathways.

Whether the goal is university, a traineeship or entering the workforce straight after school, VDSS provides a valuable head start. Students gain nationally recognised qualifications, hands-on experience and insight into growing industries.

Delivered by SportsReady Education (RTO 22394) over two years, these two future-focused programs are ideal for students entering Year 10 or 11 in 2026:

SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation
SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation
  • Wednesday from 9.00am – 12.30pm or Wednesday 1.00pm – 4.30pm (Year 1)
  • Wednesday 1:00pm – 4:30pm  (Year 2)

For students passionate about sport, health and active careers, we are pleased to announce our new Dual Certificate which combines the SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation and SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation.

This allows VDSS students to complete a nationally recognised qualification in one year (SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation) and a dual qualification (SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation & SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation) over a two-year period.
