4Cabling is a leading direct-to-consumer manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of cabling, server racks and IT management and electrical accessories. We specialise in cables, server racks, data, fibre and other electrical cabling products.

The Trade Counter Sales Trainee is a key support role provides assistance in 4Cabling’s frontline sales and customer service operations. This role involves working closely with the sales team and providing support by passing on leads and providing client service assistance. Additionally, the Trade Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for contacting trade clients and restocking shelves to ensure products are readily available for customers.

Key Responsibilities: The trainee proactively engages customers at the trade counter, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service through strong product expertise in cabling, fibre, networking, electronics and server equipment. The trainee will identify customer needs, providing tailored recommendations, and upsells or cross-sells appropriately to support sales targets. The position builds lasting customer relationships and resolves enquiries efficiently, and maintains a tidy, welcoming front of house environment.

The role requires someone with customer-facing sales experience, the confidence to communicate clearly, works effectively in a team, and a proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to prioritise tasks independently and ethical when handling data

National Training Wage from: $27,300 – $42,100, plus 12.0% Superannuation
