The Sports and Physical Education Trainee will work closely with school staff to support the delivery of programs and events throughout the year. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sport, health, physical education and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities: General duties include supporting the delivery of programs and attending events. The role involves assisting with sporting equipment and uniforms, supporting team sports and school sporting activities, plus providing supervision support at camps, carnivals and after-school events. The position also supports the setup and pack-down of sporting events, lunchtime equipment loans and general operations such as marshalling, timekeeping and event assistance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining sports, PE and OED storerooms, providing administrative and office support, assisting maintenance staff during term breaks and undertaking other duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the School’s ethos and willingness to support others with an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required.

National Training Wage from: $28,000 – $45,000, plus 12% Superannuation
