Eaton Community College was opened in 2003 as a Year 7–10 Middle School. The College moved to a more traditional Year 7–12 Senior High School in 2009. The College aims to address the emotional, social, intellectual and academic needs specific to young teenagers.

The Trainee will work closely with school staff to support the delivery of programs and events throughout the year. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health, physical education and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities: General duties include supporting the delivery of programs and attending events. The role also involves supporting sports and recreation programs, record keeping, maintaining facilities and equipment, as well as carrying out a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the School’s ethos and willingness to support others with an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required. Strong swimming ability is essential, ideally supported by a Community Surf Rescue Certificate. Applicants are encouraged to clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this traineeship in their application.

National Training Wage from: $28,400 – $43,700, plus 12% Superannuation
