This exciting Traineeship offers a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about pursuing a career in the Sport and Recreation industry. The role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to delivering quality Physical and Outdoor Education programs while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will assist in delivering Physical and Outdoor Education classes, inter-school sport and recreation competitions, including carnivals. Responsibilities also include supporting camps and excursions, helping with the setting up of practical classes, and general administration tasks. Additionally, the Trainee will maintain equipment, facilities and adhere to defined Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.

This role requires flexibility, as the Trainee must also be available to attend camps, excursions and work before or after school hours when required. Strong swimming ability is essential, ideally supported by a Community Surf Rescue Certificate. Candidates are encouraged to clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this Traineeship in their application.

National Training Wage from: $28,400 – $43,700 pro-rata, plus 12.0 Superannuation
