We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sport and Recreation Trainee to support our Sport, and Health and Physical Education department. You will assist with planning and delivering a range of sporting programs and recreational activities, including the preparation, maintenance and organisation of sports equipment and facilities to ensure high-quality learning experiences with safe participation for all students.

Key Responsibilities: This role supports the Director of Sport, teachers and students in the delivery of interschool sport, carnivals and special events and contributes to the effective running of the school’s sporting programs and facilities. This role will also assist staff in PE classes (timetabled). The Trainee will also organise equipment and uniforms and assist with community engagement. The position includes record keeping, maintaining facilities and completing a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the school’s ethos with a willingness to assist others and an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required. Candidates are encouraged to clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this Traineeship in their application.

National Training Wage from: $27,300 – $42,100 pro-rata, plus 12% Superannuation
