This role has been designed to support the College’s Health and Physical Education (HPE) areas. Providing assistance to teachers and students in the delivery of programs. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the College community. The Trainee is expected to uphold the values and mission of the College, respect confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will undertake a broad range of duties, including preparing and maintaining equipment, supporting teachers during classes and assisting with the organisation of school sporting events and carnivals. Helping to coordinate activities such as lunchtime sport, inter-school competitions and will assist with the set-up and pack-up of classes. The role also includes completing administrative tasks, maintaining equipment registers, preparing event materials and collating results. At times, the Trainee may be required to attend after-school or weekend events.

Applicants should have experience working with children, strong time management, communication and organisational skills are essential. As is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will demonstrate motivation, initiative and a willingness to contribute positively to the College community. National Training Wage from: $28,000 – $45,000, plus 12% Superannuation
