The role of the Trainee is to support and assist Health and Physical Education (HPE) staff to ensure the efficient operation of the Learning Area.

Key Responsibilities: General duties include supporting the delivery of programs and attending events. The role also involves supporting sports and recreation programs, record keeping, maintaining facilities and equipment, as well as carrying out a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the school’s ethos with a willingness to assist others and bring an enthusiastic attitude to all aspects of the role. A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive school environment is essential. Applicants must also be available to attend camps, excursions and work before or after school hours when required. Strong swimming ability is essential, ideally supported by a Community Surf Rescue Certificate.

National Training Wage from: $28,400-$43,700, plus 12.0% Superannuation
