Located in the City of Greater Geraldton, Champion Bay Senior High School officially opened in 2019. The school is guided by a vision to empower students to become independent learners, critical thinkers and problem solvers, enabling them to achieve their academic, social and emotional potential. Champion Bay fosters a strong sense of community, embodying the principles of its motto — Respect, Aspire, Resilience — in everything it does.

The purpose of this role will be to support the operation of the schools Physical Education Department, with a focus on Physical Education, Aquatics and Outdoor Education pursuits.This role is ideal for someone passionate about health, physical education and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities: General duties include supporting the delivery of Physical, Marine/Aqautics, and Outdoor Education classes. Assist in inter-school sport and recreation competitions as well as camps and excursions. The role also involves record keeping, maintaining facilities and equipment, as well as carrying out a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to support others and an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. Applicants must also be able to attend camps, excursions and work before or after school hours as required. It is essential they are a strong swimmer and be capable/willing to attain a Community Surf Rescue Qualification (training provided by CBSHS).

National Training Wage from: $27,000 to $29,000, plus 12% Superannuation
