Located in the City of Greater Geraldton, Champion Bay Senior High School officially opened in 2019. The school is guided by a vision to empower students to become independent learners, critical thinkers and problem solvers, enabling them to achieve their academic, social and emotional potential. The purpose of this role will be to support the operation of the schools Physical Education Department, with a focus on Physical Education, Aquatics and Outdoor Education pursuits.This role is ideal for someone passionate about health, physical education and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities: General duties include supporting the delivery of Physical, Marine/Aqautics, and Outdoor Education classes. Assist in inter-school sport and recreation competitions as well as camps and excursions. The role also involves record keeping, maintaining facilities and equipment, as well as carrying out a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to support others and an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. Applicants must also be able to attend camps, excursions and work before or after school hours as required. It is essential they are a strong swimmer and be capable/willing to attain a Community Surf Rescue Qualification (training provided by CBSHS).

National Training Wage from: $27,000 to $29,000, plus 12% Superannuation
