Blending old with new, the beautiful Cabra campus is just 10 minutes south of Adelaide, CBD. Cabra Dominican College offers an exceptional Catholic co-educational experience for students. The role involves supporting teachers with organisation, administration and practical duties in Physical Education and Sport.

Key Responsibilities: Prepearing and maintaining equipment, organising storage areas and supporting teaching staff when required. The role includes assisting with the organisation of competitions, sports days and carnivals, supporting House Captains, attending knockout competitions, setting up and supervising training sessions, managing communication with parents regarding absences and assisting with Friday afternoon and Saturday morning competitions. The Trainee may be asked to coach teams, manage the cleaning of sports uniforms and contribute to duties related to the College Annual Yearbook.

Applicants will have a strong interest in sport and/or teaching and will be expected to actively support the ethos of the school. The Trainee will uphold the values, vision and mission of the College while seeking to deepen their understanding of the Dominican charism. The Trainee should demonstrate a willingness to assist others, bring enthusiasm to all aspects of the role and foster a positive and supportive school environment. Applicants will need strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, the ability to work collaboratively and the initiative to contribute across a wide range of sporting and educational activities. The role may also involve attending camps, supporting school functions and assisting in lessons. Flexibility is essential, as additional hours will be required at busy times and during major school events. The successful applicant will be required to complete Approved Mandatory Notification training (RRHAN Masterclass) upon appointment.

National Training Wage from: $27,300 – $43,500, plus 12% Superannuation
