The Social Justice and Student Engagement Trainee will work closely with the Director of Faith and Mission to assist in the organisation, administration, delivery of the College’s Faith and Mission programs, encompassing social and ecological justice, liturgical events and retreats. This position involves close collaboration with the Catholic Social Justice Coordinator, Sustainability and Ecological Justice Coordinator, Retreat and Reflection Day Coordinator, with a shared goal of enhancing Faith and Mission experiences for students. Additionally, the Trainee will work with the Director of Student Engagement, supporting student leadership, house and engagement programs throughout the College.
Key Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of Faith and Mission, the Social Justice and Student Engagement Trainee will plan, organise and support a range of Faith and Mission activities, including social justice, ecological initiatives and year-level retreats. The Trainee will assist in facilitating student committees, maintaining Faith and Mission spaces, resources and liaising with relevant external organisations. In collaboration with the Director of Student Engagement, the Trainee will also support student engagement programs and house events, contributing to student leadership initiatives and assisting with college fundraisers and celebrations.
