A fantastic opportunity awaits a motivated 2025 school leaver eager to build a career in the sport industry. This Traineeship will see the successful applicant working closely with the Health and Physical Education Learning Area at Carine Senior High School. Reporting directly to the Coordinator, the Health and Physical Education Trainee will support the operation of the school’s sporting facilities and programs, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities: Trainee will assist with a variety of programs and services. They will support class preparation, set up, coordinate interschool sports and recreational activities by attending camps and excursions. The Trainee will also be responsible for record-keeping, database management, and the maintenance of facilities, equipment and ensuring all resources are well-prepared.
The ideal candidate for the Health and Physical Education Traineeship will have interest in sport and/or teaching and have knowledge and experience in a range of sporting context. The successful candidate will be able to complete their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC), and be a competent swimmer (50m+).
National Training Wage from: Salary Range $27,000 – $43,000, plus 12.0% Superannuation
