About the Role

Reporting to the Procurement Manager within the Finance team, the Procurement Intern will support the Procurement function with day-to-day operational activities while developing practical skills across procurement and supplier management.

Three (3) identified internships are available.

In this role, you will:

• Support procurement operations, including purchase order creation, supplier onboarding and maintaining accurate records
• Assist with contract administration and support monitoring of supplier performance under guidance
• Collaborate with the sourcing team on low-value sourcing activities and simple supplier negotiations
• Prepare documentation to support procurement, sourcing and supplier engagement processes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency
• Learn and apply procurement policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented First Nations individuals with an interest in procurement or commercial operations, who are eager to learn in a professional corporate environment. You’ll be currently studying or have recently completed a Bachelor of Business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related discipline.

You’ll bring:

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively

No prior procurement experience is required.
