Reporting to the Director of Sport, the Sports and Physical Education Trainee supports the delivery of Physical Education programs at Peninsula Grammar School (PGS). This role provides valuable hands-on experience while the Trainee works towards a nationally recognised qualification. Two trainee positions are available: one supporting the Junior School (Prep–Year 6) and one supporting the Senior School (Years 7–12).

Key Responsibilities: The Sports and Physical Education Trainee supports the delivery of Physical Education classes by assisting with equipment set-up and pack-down, supervising change rooms and helping with activities. The role also involves maintaining the presentation and organisation of the Physical Education Centre, supporting school sporting events and carnivals, and assisting with Sport and House programs. Basic administrative tasks and resource support are also required as part of this hands-on learning role.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in sport, as the Trainee will be required to assist with coaching a Peninsula Grammar sporting team, including training sessions and Saturday morning commitments. The position also involves building positive, respectful relationships with staff and students that reflect the School’s values and pastoral care. National Training Wage from: $28,000 – $45,000, plus 12% Superannuation
