The Sport and Recreation Trainee at Swan Active will gain experience across lifeguarding, customer service and administration. The role offers variety and the chance to develop skills in multiple areas within a busy leisure facility.

Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will support workplace relationships, provide advanced first aid and deliver high-quality customer service. They will assist with sport and leisure programs, pool supervision, coaching, umpiring and program delivery. The role also includes reception and café duties, handling enquiries and payments, supporting cleaning and maintenance, creating social media content. Plus assisting with scheduling, complaints and daily operations.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. Experience in the fitness or sports sector is desirable but not required. If you’re a confident and capable swimmer (50m+), well organised and able to work as part of a team with good communication skills, apply now!

National Training Wage from: $27,000 – $42,000, plus 12% Superannuation
