– Ysabella Wallace

Webinar Guest Speaker - YsabellaYsabella Wallace decided to take on a traineeship in 2019, which led her to work in the Major Events and Festivals department at the City of Sydney. After completing her traineeship and obtaining a Certificate III and IV in Business, she secured an ongoing role with her host employer and has since moved on as Production coordinator at the ABC. Ysabella credits her traineeship for providing her with the skills and experience necessary to advance in her career.

Webinar Guest Speaker - HarrisonHarrison Shepherd, a proud Wiradjuri man and a 2023 New Colombo Plan Scholar, took on a traineeship at his old school, Nowra Anglican College in 2020. He worked as a teaching assistant in the performing arts department while completing a Certificate II in Business. The ArtsReady traineeship with AFL SportsReady provided Harrison with valuable industry experience and sparked his passion for teaching. Leading him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Newcastle.

Webinar Guest Speaker - TessaTessa McDonald got her start in the AFL industry after completing a traineeship in 2019. She began as a Membership trainee at St Kilda Football Club and has since gained a permanent position as the Consumer Operations Manager. Now, Tessa has her own trainee, providing him with valuable insight into the benefits for both the trainee and the host employer.
