    NAB Indigenous Customer Advisor Trainee

    This paid traineeship offers the opportunity to earn while you learn, with a salary of approximately $45,000 – $51,000 per annum. You’ll complete a nationally recognised qualification, build practical skills and receive ongoing mentoring through AFL SportsReady’s Indigenous Programs.

    As a Branch Customer Advisor Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in a NAB branch, helping customers with their everyday banking needs. You’ll learn valuable customer service, communication and administration skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive team environment.

    You don’t need previous experience or to be a school-leaver. If you’re Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, have the right attitude and are willing to have a go, a traineeship could be your next step.

    This paid summer internship offers Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander university students the opportunity to gain practical experience with NAB while continuing their studies.

    As a NAB intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a professional workplace, applying what you’re learning at university while working alongside experienced professionals. You’ll also receive access to an Indigenous mentor to support your development throughout the internship.

    The internship includes up to 50 days of PAID work experience, completed between November 2026 and February 2027. Participants will also receive a Study Allowance of up to $6,815 per semester and a Book Allowance of up to $524 per semester (pro-rata).
