The Sport and Recreation Trainee supports the delivery and coordination of the school’s sport and physical activity programs. This includes the preparation, maintenance and organisation of sports equipment and facilities to ensure high-quality learning experiences with safe participation for all students.

Key Responsibilities: This role supports teachers and students in the delivery of PE classes, interschool sport, carnivals and contributes to the effective running of the school’s sporting programs and facilities. The Trainee will organise equipment, uniforms and assist with community engagement. This position also involves record keeping, maintaining facilities and completing a range of general administrative and operational tasks

The Trainee is expected to actively support the school’s ethos with a willingness to assist others and an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required. National Training Wage from: $28,300 – $43,100, plus 12% Superannuation
