AFL SportsReady Wins the Wurreker Award

Last week AFL SportsReady was awarded a Wurreker Award for best private registered training organisation from the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association (VAEAI) at the annual Wurreker Awards Ceremony.

The award recognised our work in providing innovative partnership arrangements resulting in improved pathways, career and employment outcomes for Victorian Koorie VET students.

Jade Colgan, Executive Manger of Indigenous Programs attended the annual awards ceremony. “It’s a great recognition of the hard work and dedication of the whole team”, Jade said.

“We are very proud of the work we do at AFL SportsReady in providing young Indigenous Australians with an opportunity to succeed, through the creation of meaningful education and employment pathways.”
