AFL dreams come true for AFL SportsReady trainees

The dream of playing professional Australian Rules Football has become a reality for 25 current and former trainees recently drafted into the AFL system. 

The team at AFL SportsReady are excited for the journey ahead for these budding footy superstars and will be cheering loud and proud from the sidelines. 

The 2016 NAB AFL Women’s Draft saw 18 of AFL SportsReady’s talented graduates, make history as they were announced for the 2017 season.  On the men’s side, seven of AFL SportsReady’s young guns impressed the recruiters and made it on the official AFL list.
