Amanda Bresnan
Amanda joins The Ready Foundation Board with nearly 20 years of experience working in non-executive and executive level roles and was a Member of Parliament (MP) for four years. Amanda is currently a Director for Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE), as well as Committee member and Secretary for the Port Melbourne Chargers Women’s Football Club.
Amanda has previously held the positions of Chair at NRL Wheelchair Rugby League Victoria and Asthma Foundation ACT, Deputy Chair for Women’s Mental Health Network Victoria, Director for Women’s Information Referral and Exchange (WIRE), Australian Injecting and Illicit Drug Users League (AIVL) and Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), and Board Member for Asthma Foundation Australia. Amanda has also held Chair and member positions on a number of Committees, Sub-Committees and community advisory groups.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Graduate Diploma in Arts, Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Auslan Level 1. Amanda is also a member with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
