Linda Imms is the Education Projects Manager at AFL SportsReady, and manages the AFL Executive level courses, YMCA Victoria Leadership Programs, and Cricket Australia’s Executive courses.   Linda also administers the AFL SportsReady LMS and develops tailored online education solutions to meet the needs of clients. Linda has developed online courses and interactive portals for clients such as the AFL, AFLPA, YMCA, Cricket Australia, Bowls Australia and the NAB.

Linda is an educator with over 20 years’ experience in the Higher Education sector.  She has facilitated the e-Learning units in the Diploma of VET Practice and designed and facilitated Professional Development courses for educators across the tertiary sector in areas such as: Teaching with Learning Management Systems, Web 2.0 tools, online facilitation in virtual classrooms and social media.

Linda was the recipient of a VET Development Centre Specialist Scholarship in 2008 and was part of the team awarded eLearning Innovations Funding in 2011 by the AFLF for Swinburne University’s ‘Confirm Physical Health Status’ unit. Linda presented at the 2010 Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council 6th National Making a Difference conference on Action Learning in eLearning and the 2011 Symposium for the Child, Youth and Family Services Sector – Facing up to Facebook: The Impact of Technology on Children, Young People their Families and the Sector.
