Take your business skills to the next level with a Certificate IV in Business. The course will teach you the skills to
analyse, evaluate and solve problems in a business setting and provide you with the leadership skills to develop teams and individuals.

The course provides the skills and knowledge that can be used for a analysing and solving a broad range of unpredictable problems within the business industry . Graduates could work for large or small organisations that operate in different business settings in roles such as administrators or project officers.

Our program delivery varies between each state. SportsReady Education offers different modalities of study such workshops or face to face workplace assessment (Traineeships). Contact your state student administration officer to discuss the training options available.

Traineeship – 12-18 months

The program has been developed to suit those in an approved traineeship program. Completion of Certificate III in Business and/or relevant work experience is desirable, but not essential.

Students are expected to complete assessments for each unit of competency in their own time outside of workshops or visits. Trainees will be allocated scheduled time away from their usual work practices to complete assessment requirements.

Conditions apply. Upon successful completion of a Certificate IV qualification with our Registered Training Organisation, SportsReady Education (RTOID 22394), students may be eligible for direct entry into one of our university partners. Students who successfully complete a Diploma level qualification may also be eligible for course credits. Availability and eligibility criteria vary in each state.

The Certificate IV in Business comprises 1 core unit and 9 elective units of study. The units set out below form the basis of the qualification but can be subject to change.

Credit for an equivalent unit of competency previously achieved will be granted upon receipt of certificate evidence.
