Can you feel a new footy season just around the corner? A new season means new opportunities in the AFL Industry at various clubs and directly with the AFL!

If you’re like many of us here at AFL SportsReady you’re always there for the first bounce. If it’s your team, you most likely stick around right to the end of every game. Because you’re loyal like that. You feel you can’t let the team down, and what if they have an epic comeback? As the club song goes, we’ll fight and fight and win, well it’s not always the case but you get our drift. Or if you’re side is pumping the opposition – either way, do you like to stay on till the final siren goes?

We’re looking for die-hards that never weaken ’til the final siren’s gone and want to stay the course for a 12-month Traineeship. That’s a tad longer than a footy season, but that’s ok right because you’ll be in footy heaven..?

You’ll be surrounded by colleagues and a support team from AFL SportsReady to help coach you every step of the way. BTW, this is paid work in the AFL industry and when you complete all your course goals, you’ll finish up with a FREE qualification too! Winning!

If you really feel this idea of a Traineeship is for you, we’d love to hear from you (regardless of what footy team you follow, can you guess what AFL side our writer follows, me?).

Successful applicants are placed on a 12-month contract with a club or onsite at Marvel Stadium. Find out what study component you’ll complete on the individual job descriptions, qualifications will depend on the role.

No, you won’t be kickin’ the footy around the hallway, all day during your Traineeship. You might be learning the operations side of the club, assisting with day-to-day admin, in the membership department, ticketing, helping on game days or learning how to run payroll.

With so many varied and exciting opportunities within the AFL industry, join Trainees like – Mia Mehmet (as pictured) and kickstart your career with us this season.

Oh FYI, if you can’t find something you want to apply for, fill out the expressions of interest form.
