2020 Graduation Dates Released
Now that all the hard work is done, come along and celebrate your achievements with family, friends, employers and the AFL SportsReady team, in a special graduation ceremony in your state. Your traineeship experience may have ended but this is only the beginning of your exciting career journey ahead.
At the ceremony, you’ll collect your certificate on stage, hear inspiring stories from AFL SportsReady Alumni, be recognised for your hard work and get to celebrate with your graduating classmates.
Trainees attend for free and are able to bring an extra guest at no additional charge.
If you are a graduating trainee, don’t forget to remind your host employer that they are invited to attend the graduation ceremony for FREE too!
See below the Ceremonies details for each of your states:
- VIC – Friday 21 February, Zinc Federation Square at 6:30 pm
- NSW/ACT – Thursday 5 March, Barnet Long Room at Customs house at 6:30 pm
- SA – Thursday 12 March, Glenelg Golf Club at 6:30 pm
- TAS – Friday 20 March, Old Woolstore Hotel at 6:30 pm *postponed until further notice
- WA – Thursday 26 March, Neighbourhood Pizza at 6 pm *postponed until further notice
- QLD – Friday 1 May, Queensland Cricketers Club at 6:30 pm

To be eligible to graduate all current trainees must have completed their course work prior to the date of their graduation ceremony*
