Expand your expertise and make a significant impact on AFL Recruiting and List Management.
Brad’s AFL journey began as a player with the Hawthorn Football Club, spanning from 1997 to 1999. Following his tenure in the AFL, he served as the captain of VFL club Williamstown between 2002 and 2006, leading them to a remarkable premiership victory in 2003; the Seagulls first in 13 years and 13th in VFA/VFL history.
In 2001, Brad made a pivotal transition from the field, excelling as an AFL player agent, skilfully managing playing contracts and marketing for ESP management and their AFL-playing clients.
A new chapter in AFL club land presented itself in 2008 when Brad joined the Fremantle. Initially, he took on the role of National Recruiting Manager, overseeing the club’s National, Pre-season, and Rookie drafts. Before the close of the 2008 season, Brad ascended to the position of General Manager of List Management. In this role, he had oversight of player contracts, retention, and acquisitions, while also guiding the club’s national recruiting efforts and drafting processes. Brad’s time as List Manager led to developing a list that made successive finals campaigns; including drafting future Brownlow Medallist Nate Fyfe.
Today, Brad holds the role of General Manager of Football at the Carlton Football Club, where his extensive experience and strategic insights continue to shape the future of the game.
Brad’s wealth of experience stands as a testament to his unwavering passion for the sport. Both on and off the field, he has become a highly regarded authority in the world of AFL.
