    The course provides the skills and knowledge that are required to work within the sport and recreation industry. Once finished students are able to work in the following job roles: facility coordinator, administration coordinator, recreation coordinator, operations coordinator .Graduates could work for large or small sporting organisations in a variety of sporting settings such as fitness centres, sporting grounds or complexes, leisure and aquatic centres and community recreation centres or sporting organisations and associations.

    The course is only delivered in Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland . Our program delivery varies between each state. SportsReady Education offers different modalities of study such as workshops or face to face workplace assessment (Traineeships).     Traineeship – 12-18 months

    The program has been developed to suit those in an approved traineeship program. Completion of a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation and/or relevant experience is desirable.     Students are expected to complete assessments for each unit of competency in their own time outside of workshops or visits. Trainees will be allocated scheduled time away from their usual work practices to complete assessment requirements.
