The Sport and Recreation Trainee is the first point of contact, delivering positive customer experiences and strengthening community partnerships across the aquatic and fitness centre at the Cook & Philip Park Pool site. The trainee will be responsible for welcoming customers and responding to enquiries in person, by phone and or email, while fostering accessible, friendly, and community focused services.

Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will support workplace relationships and deliver high-quality customer service. They will assist with the delivery of aquatics, swim school, health & fitness and safety programs. The role also includes front desk support, general administration, assist with membership enquiries and sales, as well as maintaining facilities.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. Experience in the fitness or sports sector is desirable but not required. National Training Wage from: $27,300 – $42,100, plus 12% Superannuation
