Reporting to the HPE Teacher, the trainee will support the staff and help increase student participation in sporting programs.

Key Responsibilities: The role will assist in the planning and organisation of excursion, carnivals and camps, including booking transport, venues, umpires, coaches and arranging team kits. Support will also be required for the maintenance of facilities, storerooms and sporting equipment.
The Trainee will communicate with colleagues, students, families and external services, coordinate sporting administration and provide support during lessons and activities.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people are essential as is the ability to provide First Aid when necessary. It’s a requirement to work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends. Basic computer skills are required, along with a general interest in active sports and participation.
The Trainee is expected to actively support the school’s Catholic values, assist others where needed and maintain an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive school environment is essential.

National Training Wage from: $28,100 – $43,500 pro-rata, plus 12% Superannuation
