The Sports and Physical Education Trainee supports the college Physical Education and Health classes. The role works closely with the Sports Coordinator and operates under the guidance of the Deputy Principal – Operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports who seeks to develop practical skills and gain foundational experience in sport and education.

Key Responsibilities: The trainee supports PE and Health classes, sports carnivals, school camps and excursions. They assist school teams with coaching, umpiring and general maintenance of equipment and facilities. The role also includes providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organisation’s sports and recreation programs.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the School’s ethos and willingness to support others with an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required.

National Training Wage from: $28,000 – $43,000, plus 12.0% Superannuation
