The Sports and Physical Education Traineeship offers a hands-on, practical experience within a dynamic sports environment. The successful Trainee will work closely with the host organisation, contributing to a range of responsibilities, from facility maintenance to assisting in the delivery of sports programs and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports who seeks to develop practical skills and gain foundational experience in sports administration and operations.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities within the role include, general maintenance of equipment and facilities, provide support during sports carnivals, assisting during school camps and excursions, support school teams with coaching, umpiring and other duties as required during sporting matches. Other responsibilities also include providing general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the organisation’s sports and recreation programs.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the School’s ethos and willingness to support others with an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required.

National Training Wage from: $28,400 – $43,700, plus 12.0% Superannuation
