The Trainee will support the Physical Education and Sport Program at Melbourne Girls’ College. This role is designed to develop skills in coaching, student engagement and sport program administration, while providing a positive role model for students.

Key Responsibilities: The Sports and Recreation Trainee will support the delivery of programs, assist during school camps, contribute to coaching, training and help represent teams at events and carnivals. The Trainee will also organise equipment and uniforms and assist with community engagement. The position includes record keeping, maintaining facilities / equipment and completing a range of general administrative and operational tasks.

The Trainee is expected to actively support the school’s ethos with a willingness to assist others and an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required. Candidates are encouraged to clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this Traineeship in their application.

National Training Wage from: $27,300 – $42,100, plus 12% Superannuation
