Located on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Woodleigh School is an independent, coeducational school comprising two Junior Campuses (ECC-Year 6) in Frankston South and Moorooduc and a Senior Campus in Langwarrin South.

The Sport and Physical Education Trainee will support Woodleigh School staff and students across sport, physical education, activities and camps. The traineeship provides valuable industry experience within a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant will assist in coaching after-school netball and basketball programs, as well as actively participate in physical education and sport programs. They will supervise the gym and multi-courts during recess/lunchtime, and be responsible for maintaining sports equipment, ensuring it is neatly stored. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the organisation of sporting excursions and carnivals, coordinating gym bookings and arranging buses for SIS teams.

The role also includes supporting the school’s Camp and Activities programs, along with Homestead and Activities Week. A passion for physical education is highly desirable. Applicants should clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability in their application.

National Training Wage from: $28,000 – $45,000, plus 12% Superannuation
