The Performing Arts Trainee supports the College’s Music, Drama and Dance programs by contributing to productions, rehearsals and co-curricular events while building industry-specific skills within the performing arts environment.
Key Responsibilities: As a Performing Arts Trainee, you will play an active role in supporting the smooth delivery of classes, rehearsals and performances. This includes assisting with the setup of programs, providing backstage, lighting, sound and technical support, as well as helping with the preparation and organisation of costumes and props. You will also support student performers during rehearsals and backstage, maintain facilities and equipment, plus contribute to College productions, concerts and assemblies.
The Trainee is expected to actively support the School’s Catholic ethos and willingness to support others with an enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to contributing to a positive and supportive school environment is essential. The position may involve weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants must also be able to work before or after school hours as required.

National Training Wage from: $28,100 – $43,500, plus 12% Superannuation
