Ashdale Secondary College, an Independent Public School in the Perth northern suburb of Darch, Western Australia, provides students with educational excellence, preparing them for a future of unlimited possibilities. The Trainee will work closely with school staff to support the delivery programs. This position is suited to someone who is enthusiastic about sport, outdoor activities, creative arts and contributing to a positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities: The role involves supporting teachers across various departments. Assisting with lessons, helping to prepare and set up equipment and acting as a positive role model for students. The Trainee will contribute to the organisation of storerooms, maintain / repair equipment, assist with ordering and stocktaking. Playing a key role in the planning and delivery of carnivals, competitions, excursions and exhibitions. While also providing support to extra-curricular programs such as coaching and umpiring. The position also requires the completion of general administrative tasks.

The position may involve occasional overnight stays, weekend work and travel throughout the year. Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a willingness to support staff and students across a variety of learning areas. An enthusiastic and professional attitude is essential, along with a commitment to contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment. Additional duties may be required to meet the needs of the school.
