The Guest Services Trainee is a key member of the team responsible for delivering excellent service to all customers at Melbourne University Sport. As a key public face for Melbourne University Sport, this role ensures a welcoming and professional experience for all customers, members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities: The Guest Services Trainee will provide a high level of customer service across various communication channels, including all enquiries about memberships and programs. They will follow opening and closing procedures, direct calls to the appropriate staff and perform general administrative tasks, including processing memberships and venue bookings. The role also involves handling point-of-sale transactions accurately and maintaining security at the reception area. During the school holiday program, the trainee will work collaboratively with educators to create a safe and engaging environment for children by assisting with the set up activities, checking off attendance, supervision and provide a welcoming experience for participants and parents, maintaining a well-organised program schedule.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. Experience in the fitness or sports sector is desirable but not required. Compliance with Occupational Health & Safety policies and maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions are essential aspects of the position.

National Training Wage from: $27,500, plus 12.0% Superannuation
