Salesian College Sunbury is a co-educational school providing quality education in a community of faith.

The Technology Trainee will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of technology-related areas within the school. Working under supervision, you will assist with preparing materials, maintaining equipment and ensuring classrooms are set up for lessons. The role requires active involvement in maintaining stock, supporting teachers with classroom activities, and adhering to Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for tasks such as ordering, purchasing and maintaining appropriate stock levels of materials and consumables. You will also help prepare classrooms by setting up equipment and materials as requested by teachers, as well as assist with the supervision of students during lessons. Additional duties include managing external suppliers, charging robotics class batteries, maintaining robots and iPads, and ensuring stock and equipment are replenished. You will also support the food technology area by ordering ingredients, assisting with invoicing, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

This traineeship is not available to people with tertiary qualifications and current university applicants may need to defer their studies to be eligible. The role also involves regular cleaning duties, including equipment, kitchen maintenance and requires you to assist with the minor upkeep of equipment.

National Training Wage from: $21,500, plus 11.5% Superannuation

This role is suitable for recent secondary school leavers
