The Royal Hobart Golf Club, established in 1916, is Tasmania’s premier members’ club. Nestled in the seaside town of Seven Mile Beach, just 20 minutes from Hobart, the course is renowned for its pristine condition and exceptional playing experience all year round.

The Business Administration Trainee provides professional reception services and administrative support as the first point of contact for members, guests and visitors of the Royal Hobart Golf Club.

Key Responsibilities: The trainee will support reception by welcoming visitors, answering calls and directing enquiries. This role ensures smooth communication across departments and assists with the operational needs of the Club, Board and Sub-Committees. Responsibilities may include data entry, record maintenance and assisting with member engagement initiatives.

The trainee is expected to contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the values of the Royal Hobart Golf Club. Applicants are encouraged to clearly outline their skills, experience and suitability for this traineeship in their application.

National Training Wage from: $28,100 – $43, 500, plus 12% Superannuation

This role is suitable for a recent year 12 school leaver or a mature age candidate
