Harness Racing Victoria is a statutory body that oversees all harness racing activity in Victoria. Its mission is to deliver accessible harness racing that achieves financial sustainability, while Clubs remain at the heart of their communities.

This role provides administrative support to racing programming, handicapping and field selection processes, as well as supporting the Customer Service Team.

Key Responsibilities: The Business Administration Trainee will process race nominations, fields and results. They will maintain accurate horse and race data while supporting licensing and registrations. In addition, the Trainee will assist the Customer Service Team with stakes payments, invoicing, receipts and other duties as required.

Due to racing industry requirements, this position may involve work outside of standard hours, including some evenings and weekends, during major race meetings.

National Training Wage from: $28,100 – $43,500 (pro-rata), plus 12% Superannuation

This role is suitable for recent secondary school leavers
