Sports Leadership Program now open!

Ever wanted to work in the sporting industry? Get your foot in the door with the 2016 Sports Leadership Program. AFL SportsReady and AFL Victoria are offering a 10 month course that provides participants with industry experience, professional networks and qualifications to develop a full time career within the sports industry.

Commencing from February to November, the Sports Leadership Program allows participants to learn and apply classroom theory in a real work environment.

As part of the program, students will gain real experience in the sports industry through work placement (unpaid) at one of AFL Victoria’s affiliated leagues and clubs.

Successful students may be invited to enrol into the Stage 2 of the program, where on completion they will be eligible for a direct entry pathway to La Trobe University, with up to one year’s credit for several Bachelor Degree programs* (conditions apply).

To be eligible for the Program, applicants must have successfully completed Year 12 or be a mature age applicant.
