Melinda Reilly takes out Trainee of the Year

Melinda Reilly has taken out AFL SportsReady’s inaugural Trainee of the Year for 2014.  Melinda started a traineeship with the Adelaide Football Club and worked as a member of the membership services department,

studying a certificate III in sport and recreation. She excelled in her role as the Member Services Officer, taking on extra responsibilities which she handled with maturity beyond her years.

Melinda became an important member of the Crows team, and she is a great example of how strong partnerships between AFL SportsReady, employers and trainees deliver positive outcomes for all involved.

Melinda has now completed her traineeship and has now been employed full time by the Adelaide Football Club. She is also currently enrolled to study a Bachelor of Commerce.

Melinda was originally recognised for her recognised as AFL SportsReady’s South Australian Trainee of the Year in March of this year.
