 Liberty Carter always wanted to do something in the creative and arts industry but had no idea how to begin. This particular industry can be a hard one to enter but with ArtsReady’s help Liberty’s dream career became possible.

She began working with the City of Syndey in the arts and events deparment and fell in love with the position right away. Liberty has always been passionate about events, music and photography so she excelled in her role and thrived in the team environment.

Liberty also studies a Certificate III in Business, providing her with skills and knowledge to make a difference in the workplace.

“Everyday is a bit different. Some days i’ll be in the office processing applications from artists, putting together programs and other days i’ll be out of office scoping for events and sketching up ideas for festivals, which is pretty fun. To anyone thinking of doing a traineeship, do it! It’s a journey of a life time.”
