Kaisee Neutert began working for AFL SportsReady in 2013, completing her traineeship with Australia Post. She was keen to jump straight into the work force whilst she was still at school as she craved an opportunity to get hands on experience. When she saw AFL SportsReady she applied straight away knowing that this school based opportunity was the answer she had been searching for.

In her role she made postal deliveries where she had to travel to different parts of Victoria and experienced the fast paced environment of the postal department. At the same time she studied her Certificate II in Business which gave her a qualification that would benefit her throughout her working life.

Kaisse finished her traineeship in December 2014 and is now working as a dental assistant in Wangaratta. Her advice to young students thinking of applying for an AFL SportsReady school based traineeship is “Don’t think twice, this opportunity opened so many new doors for me and it gave me a confidence I never thought I had as well as helping me to mature.”
