The Social Procurement Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the Ethical Procurement team by efficiently managing administrative tasks. These tasks include assisting with event planning, gathering feedback from Indigenous suppliers, conducting research on other organisations’ procurement processes, and contributing to creative workshops. Additionally, the role involves supporting internal social media campaigns and performing various administrative functions to ensure the successful delivery of the Ethical Procurement team’s initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: The Social Procurement Administrator is responsible for organising meetings and events, collecting and compiling feedback from Origin’s Indigenous suppliers and conducting online research to inspire creative ideas for potential initiatives. The role also involves promoting Indigenous businesses internally, managing diary scheduling and maintaining effective communication with both internal and external business stakeholders to support the team’s strategic goals.

This role requires a customer-focused approach with strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools, a passion for social causes and the confidence to work both independently and within a team. Ideally, the individual will have a socially minded attitude, enthusiasm for contributing to community support initiatives.

National Training Wage from: $21,500, plus 11.5% Superannuation
