Position Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out all administration, business and customer service activities on assigned accounts or areas as directed. The Automotive Business Trainee is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and assistance in the co-ordination of product and service delivery at store level.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Remain vigilant in identifying unsafe or environmentally unsound practices and taking action to rectify
• Report to work fit for duty, and not affected by alcohol or drugs (in accordance with the Fitness for Work Policy)
• Participate in safety programs and improvements
• Report injuries, safety incidents and hazards immediately
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Communication / Teamwork
• Participate in team member training programs
• Practice professional and superior customer service
• Build and maintain morale and teamwork
• Follow the direction of the Store Manager or delegate on all matters in relation to store operation

Customer Service
• Respond to customer enquiries (phone/email)
• Cash handling
• Data entry
• Pricing and showroom maintenance
• Visual merchandising
• Filing of paperwork – invoices, receipts, orders
• Dispatch freight orders via system

Stock Replenishment
• Track and update stock levels.
• Manual handling of product(s) to manage and maintain stock within the store (in accordance with one person carry weight capacity and applying appropriate manual handling techniques)
• Ensure appropriate manual handling techniques are undertaken

Housekeeping / Maintenance
• General store cleaning and housekeeping•

SALARY

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

National Training Wage Award: $22,000 – $41,000 plus 11% Superannuation
