Celebrating International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD), on March 8, is a time to celebrate all the amazing, strong, fierce, brave and kind women in the community. To the loving mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers and aunties who inspire us and the women who are breaking boundaries, making change and achieving great things economically, politically and socially.

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity with this year’s theme being “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.”

We focus on moving toward a gender-equal world, one that is free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

To celebrate IWD we wanted to highlight some of the incredible women who have excelled in their traineeships and continue to inspire people and their communities.
