The Sports Traineeship offers a hands-on, practical experience within a dynamic sports environment. The successful Trainee will work closely with the host organisation, contributing to a range of responsibilities, from facility maintenance to assisting in the delivery of sports programs and services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports who seeks to develop practical skills and gain foundational experience in sports administration and operations.
Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will support the host organisation through a variety of duties and responsibilities, including general maintenance of equipment and facilities, assistance with program and service delivery and participation in camps and excursions. Additional responsibilities include providing general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the organisationās sports and recreation programs.
This position provides a valuable entry point into the sports industry, offering hands-on experience in both administrative and program delivery roles. The Trainee will work in a supportive environment that fosters growth, learning and a deeper understanding of sports program management.
People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
National Training Wage from: $21,500, plus 11.5% Superannuation
