Burson works tirelessly to be Australia’s number-one choice for automotive after-market parts, workshop accessories and workshop equipment.

The Automotive Business Trainee is responsible for providing administrative, business and customer service support at the store level. This role involves assisting with the coordination of product and service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction. As part of the team, you will also maintain a safe working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining a clean and safe workspace, identifying and addressing unsafe practices, and reporting incidents immediately. You will also participate in safety programs and training. Key responsibilities include handling customer inquiries via phone or email, processing payments, data entry, maintaining stock levels, visual merchandising and managing freight orders. You will also assist with general store housekeeping and follow the direction of the Store Manager to ensure smooth store operations.

This traineeship is ideal for those interested in gaining experience in business administration within the automotive industry. Applicants should have strong communication and customer service skills, a commitment to safety and the ability to work as part of a team. Training will be provided to help you develop key competencies in store operations, stock management and customer service.

National Training Wage from: $22,000, plus 11.5% Superannuation

This role is suitable for recent secondary school leavers
