For more than 25 years, the Tuggeranong Community Arts Association has delivered artistic programs and events, with a focus on participation, accessibility and helped shape a sense of pride in the local community.

The Front of House/Administration Trainee supports the day-to-day operations of the reception area, helping to create a welcoming and efficient environment for all visitors. The role involves assisting with customer service tasks, such as taking enrolments, payments and events ticketing, while also contributing to the administrative functions that support external events and internal programs.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, the Trainee will be responsible for managing reception duties, including handling enquiries, bookings and payments. The Trainee will assist with shop sales and inventory management, as well as help prepare for and support the delivery of events, including setting up rooms and ensuring all necessary resources are in place. Administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, invoicing and database management are also key parts of this position.

This Trainee position provides an opportunity to develop skills in both front-of-house operations and administrative support. It requires good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

National Training Wage from: $21,500, plus 11.5% Superannuation

This role is suitable for recent secondary school leavers
