The Social Procurement Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Ethical Procurement team by managing administrative tasks that contribute to the team’s strategic objectives. This position involves assisting with a wide range of activities, including organizing events, gathering feedback from Indigenous suppliers, coordinating internal social media campaigns, researching procurement processes of other organisations and contributing to creative workshops. The role is integral in ensuring the smooth delivery of Ethical Procurement initiatives through timely and efficient administrative support.

Key Responsibilities: As the Social Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for handling various administrative duties to support the Ethical Procurement team’s initiatives. This includes organising and supporting events, gathering insights from Indigenous suppliers, conducting research on procurement practices, managing internal social media efforts and contributing to team discussions and creative sessions. Additionally, the role will involve multitasking across a dynamic environment, providing administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of projects and initiatives that align with the Ethical Procurement strategy.

This role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A passion for social causes, alongside the ability to collaborate within a team while working independently, is essential. Candidates should have a basic understanding of standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and be adaptable in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. If you are passionate about making a social impact through ethical procurement, this role provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to meaningful change.
People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
